As I am currently in the basement for the day at my job, the condition of the weather remains a memory of early morning when I arrive at work. I always joke that fire could scorch the earth above and I would not know.
So when I walked outside for lunch, I braced myself foe the customary cool breeze that always welcomes me on my walk out. Today, what greeted me was not the blessed touch of winter falling asleep but of spring’s oppressive heat being flexed for the first time this year.
It was beautiful. I was going to sequester myself in my room for the rest of the night and regale you with how God is teaching me grace, mercy, and wisdom but that went out the window. So it is with a hearty adieu that I bid thee farewell and make my way to the boardwalk at seaside heights and hope not to run unto a snookie wannabe.
